Phototherapy & LED Treatment
Phototherapy uses specific wavelengths of light to treat skin conditions and enhance treatment outcomes. LED (Light Emitting Diode) therapy is a non-invasive modality that reduces inflammation, stimulates collagen, and accelerates healing.
How Phototherapy Works
Different wavelengths target different skin concerns. Red light (630-660nm) stimulates collagen production and reduces inflammation. Blue light (405-420nm) kills acne-causing bacteria. Near-infrared (830nm) penetrates deepest, promoting wound healing and reducing pain.
Treatment Protocol
LED therapy sessions are typically 20-30 minutes. For standalone treatment, 2-3 sessions per week for 4-6 weeks. As a complement to other treatments (post-microneedling, post-peel), single sessions enhance healing and results. Skymedic's phototherapy devices deliver clinical-grade wavelengths for professional use.
